Puma released the 12-13 Italy home kit & shirt during the previous weeks. It made its debut during Italy’s friendly home defeat to Uruguay, 0-1, and it will be worn by the team during Euro 2012. The shirt features a white collar with strips representing the Italian flag, the four stars representing Italy’s four World Cup wins as well as some embossed graphics which it could do without if you ask me. We closely follow our post on the 11-12 Barcelona home kit & shirt with the release of the 11-12 Barcelona away kit & shirt. This one looks better than the 10-11 one, though it isn’t very traditional as far as my knowledge goes. It is due for official release on July 5th 2011 in the UK and early July 2011 in the US. Here it is! Barcelona’s new home kit & shirt for the 2011-12 season. Featuring irregular blue & red vertical stripes and the Qatar Foundation logo, it doesn’t look that good. To be honest, I think it’s a step down compared to last season’s kit. That won’t matter much to fans though as long as their team will keep winning. We’re going north a bit, to Scotland, so we could show you Glasgow Rangers’ new 11-12 home kit & shirt. Created by Umbro, it’s not much different if we are to compare it with last season’s. New release: the 11-12 Manchester City away kit & shirt. Made by Umbro, it looks wonderful as they got back the red and black stripes that the City shirts used to sport in 1969 and 1970 when the club won the European Cup Winners Cup, FA Cup and League Cup. Not sure how much Mancini likes it as you can’t but think of AC Milan when looking at it while being clueless about City’s history – like me. What’s important though is for City fans to enjoy it.
