Another London based club released their new home kit for the 11-12 season. Keeping up with the same classic, red and white design, Arsenal will don this while trying one more time to get their hands on the Premier League title. The major changes are at the collar, which is red instead of white, and the logo which was made to look more like the initial one due to the clubs’ upcoming 125 years anniversary. Chelsea’s new kit and shirt for the 11-12 season are out and available for pre-order. The official release date for the UK is May 12th 2011 and for the US is late May 2011. As for the shirt itself, it’s a tad different as it uses an alternation of two shades of blue to create large vertical stripes. Connoisseurs say this was done to remind of some of Chelsea’s 1980s kits. Here are the most important kit items:

We’ve got a new and wonderful release at the start of 2011. Made by Umbro, the New York Cosmos range features amongst others a wonderful jersey. It looks and feels as if it’s a regular street t-shirt but it is actually used in professional soccer. Sweet! The 11-12 Brazil home kit & shirt was also released yesterday. Stores are already taking pre-orders and it’ll ship starting February 9th 2011 in the UK and mid March in the US. You can check out all the kit items available for sale on either Kitbag, UKSoccerShop or World Soccer Shop.

Made by Nike, the main difference in design compared to the old kit is the green stripe below the neckline. It looks pretty good, I’d say. The kit will be used in this year’s Copa America and will make its official debut next Wednesday in a friendly Brazil will play against France. One other useless but noticeable thing was the heavy use of AC Milan players in the adverts. Pato, Robinho and Thiago Silva are all heavily used. Make what you will of it.

Yes, this one’s just been released and it is made by Nike! Looks like France gave up on Adidas for some reason. My take? It looks very retro and classy. Right now you can pre-order it and shipping will start this Saturday (February 5th 2011) in the UK and in early February in the US for the shirts and mid to late March for the shorts and socks.
